I can't believe Luke is already 6 months old! At his last MD appt he was 17 pounds 15 oz, and 26 1/2 inches long. That is 50%tile for both weight and length. Everyone thinks he looks chubbier than 50%tile but...the numbers don't lie! We had a bit of a scare because his head circumference did not change as much as was expected, that coupled with a non-palpable soft spot sent us to the hospital to get skull x-rays. Luckily the x-rays showed that the skull plates were still open (the worry was that they had fused early which would crowd his growing brain). So, now we wait and see...we'll follow up with the MD in a few more weeks. Luke is now able to sit up on his own for longer periods of time, he wants desperately to be mobile but he's just not quite there...He has also reached the stage were he grabs everything! We've been letting him try to take sips of water from a cup and last night he drank some of his milk from a cup without dribbling down his chin!!!
