So Many Firsts!

This week was full of firsts...it started with us attending Luke's first party.  A friend, Mia, turned 5!!!  It was a fun party, lots of babies for Luke to meet - including (2) 4-month olds.  It was amazing to see how much bigger Olly and Hayes are compared to Luke...and they are only 2 months older!  Here are some pictures from the party, Luke with Madison and Lauren (babysitter-in-training extraordinaires!), and then one with Luke and Olly!

Then we also got to go to the pool for the first time!  Luke loved the water, not surprising as he loves bath time, too!  (And he has a swimming gene from dad.)  It was a perfect day for the pool, a storm came through earlier in the day cooling it off just enough (to lower 90's) and the water was comfortable - not too hot or cold.  Here are some pictures from the pool!  Luke and mom are with Madison, Kylie (14 months old) and Cat - all neighbors of ours.

And finally, we had the 2 month well-baby check up yesterday. As you can probably see from the pictures Luke is growing like crazy!  He is now 12 pounds and 23 inches long!  He also had to get his first round of shots, but he handled it like a champ.  And while we were expecting a sleepless night with him, it was the first time he SLEPT through the night!  We got a full 7 hours of peaceful slumber!!!  Hopefully it wasn't a fluke and this is just the beginning!
